Things you will need:

1.

Open the image and the mask in Psp.

Duplicate your image (SHIFT-D) and close the original.

2.

LAYERS --> NEW RASTER LAYER

3.

Now choose three colors from your image wich we will use for the frame. I have used #A53F47, #A6B49A and #8EA6B0.

Make two of this colors your fore- and backgroundcolor and switch your backgroundcolor to gradient.

4.

Fill yout new layers with the gradient

5.

MASK--> NEW --> FROM IMAGE --> TWISTER --> OK

6.

SELECTIONS --> FROM MASK

7.

MASKS --> DELETE --> question--> YES

8.

SELECTIONS --> INVERT

9.

EFFECTS --> 3D EFFECTS--> CUTOUT --> with the following settings

Repeat the cutout but change the settings for Horizontal & Vertical to -3

11.

SELECTIONS--> INVERT

12.

EFFECTS--> NOISE --> ADD -->  8%, uniform

13.

EFFECTS--> PLUGGINS --> FM TILE TOOLS --> BLEND EMBOSS --> with the default settings

14.

EFFECTS --> 3D EFFECTS --> DROPSHADOW --> with the following settings

15.

SELECTIONS --> SELECT ALL

16.

SELECTIONS --> MODIFY --> CONTACT --> with 10 pixels

17.

IMAGE --> CROP TO SELECTION

18.

Now set your backgroundcolor at the third color you have chosen from the image. My color will be #A53F47

19.

Add a border of 5 pixels and select the border with your magic wand

20.

EFFECTS --> 3D EFFECTS --> INNER BEVEL --> with the following settings

Now set your backgroundcolor back to the color it was before.

22.

Add a border of 5 pixels

23.

Switch your fore- and backgroundcolor and add a border of 5 pixels.

24.

SELECTIONS --> SELECT ALL

25.

SELECTIONS --> MODIFY --> CONTACT --> with 10 pixels

26.

SELECTIONS --> INVERT

27.

EFFECTS--> PLUGGINS --> EYE CANDY 3.0 --> WEAVE --> With the following settings

EFFECTS--> 3D EFFECTS--> DROPSHADOW --> with the same settings as in point 14.

29.

SELECTIONS --> INVERT

30.

EFFECTS--> 3D EFFECTS --> CUTOUT --> with the same settings as in point 9.

31.

Repeat the cutout but change the settings for Horizontal & Vertical to -3

32.

Now set your backgroundcolor to the third color again and add a border of 5 pixels.

Select the border with your magic wand.

34.

EFFECTS --> 3D EFFECTS --> INNER BEVEL --> with the same settings as in point 20.

35.

EFFECTS--> 3D EFFECTS --> DROPSHADOW --> with the same settings as in point 14.

36.

Now set your backgroundcolor back to the color it was before and then switch your fore- and backgroundcolor.

37.

Add a border of 10 pixels.

38.

Switch your fore- and backgroundcolor.

39.

Add a border of 10 pixels.

40.

SELECTIONS --> SELECT ALL

 

41.

SELECTIONS --> MODIFY --> CONTRACT --> with 20 pixels

42.

SELECTIONS --> INVERT

43.

EFFECTS --> GEOMETRIC EFFECTS --> RIPPLE --> with the following settings

EFFECTS --> 3D EFFECTS --> INNER BEVEL --> with the following settings

 

45.

Now set your backgroundcolor at the third color again and add a border of 5 pixels.

46.

Select the border with your magic wand

47.

EFFECTS --> 3D EFFECTS --> INNER BEVEL --> with the same settings as in point 20.

EFFECTS --> 3D EFFECTS --> DROPSHADOW --> with the same settings as in point 14.

49.

Now set your backgroundcolor back to the color it was before and then switch your fore- and backgroundcolor.

Add a border of 15 pixels.

51.

Switch your fore- and backgroundcolor.

52.

Add a border of 15 pixels.

53.

SELECTIONS --> SELECT ALL

54.

SELECTIONS --> MODIFY --> CONTRACT--> with 30 pixels

55.

SELECTIONS --> INVERT

56.

EFFECTS --> PLUGGINS --> EYE CANDY 3.0 --> WEAVE --> with the following settings

 

57.

EFFECTS--> SHARPEN --> SHARPEN

58.

SELECTIONS --> INVERT

59.

EFFECTS --> 3D EFFECTS --> CUTOUT --> with the same settings as in point 9.

60.

Repeat the cutout but change the settings for Horizontal & Vertical to -3

61.

Now set your backgroundcolor at the third color again and add a border of 10 pixels.

Select the border with your magic wand

63.

EFFECTS --> TEXTURE EFFECTES --> MOSAIC ANTIQUE --> with the following settings

 

64.

And now you can add corners if you want.

 

And now your frame is finished.
